Closed Record System
DOD undersecretary has ordered all MTF to go to a closed medical records
system. This removes the patient from record transportation. Implemented DOD
wide.
Ensures medical record accountability. Ensures documentation is available to
your provider. Ensures the medical readiness for Active Duty Members. It is
Government Property.
Your provider will give you a copy of the consult along with copies of
appropriate documents in the record to take to your specialty appointment.
