If you require further evaluation by a physician, the Nurse Practitioner will place a referral in the system for one of our physicians.
  2. A referral from your PCM is required to see a physician. Once the referral is placed, you must activate the referral within 30 days by making an appointment and keeping it or it will be administratively closed and you will have to contact your PCM to place another referral.
  3. Two appointments with the same provider for the same day will not be scheduled.
  4. Mammography services are physically located in Women’s Health Clinic for patient convenience; however, scheduling is done through the Radiology Clinic.

Do not schedule a Pap during your menstrual cycle. It is best to schedule the test 10-20 days after the first day of your last cycle.
  3. Test results can take up to 4–8 weeks to receive and you will be notified by mail.

It will most likely be necessary to estimate the start of your cycle over the next couple of months and schedule your appointment accordingly.
  4. If you are breastfeeding or on Depo-Provera, you need to schedule an appointment through the appointment line for your IUD insertion. During your screening visit to determine your suitability for an IUD, a pregnancy test will be ordered. Once your appointment is scheduled, report to the lab 24 hours prior to your appointment for a pregnancy test.
